Seventh Generation – Million Baby Crawl |
The Million Baby Crawl Campaign
The Seventh Generation Million Baby Crawl is an online and community-level grassroots campaign, launched in mid-October 2009, to give babies (and their parents) an active voice in a movement in support of stronger protection from toxic chemicals, and to educate parents on ways to keep their home and environment clear of toxins. Babies are starting a movement demanding much-needed reform in the regulation of toxic chemicals. They’re fed up with lack of attention to this issue that impacts their health and safety – they’ve had enough and they’re mobilizing! Anyone can become a member of the Million Baby Crawl or support the initiative at http://www.seventhgeneration.com/million-baby-crawl/
The Purpose of the Campaign
Seventh Generation is committed to helping consumers make informed choices, and is promoting consumer awareness and engagement about the issue of toxic chemicals in home products. The Million Baby Crawl site is a growing and viral community for parents to educate themselves and their communities about this issue, rally for change and make a difference. This campaign will educate parents about a new proposal to reform the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), updating last year’s Kid-Safe Chemicals Act.
The Crawl to Action Event
On Wednesday, November 18, 2009, the Seventh Generation Crawl to Action will take place in six cities across the United States (Boston, Denver, Minneapolis, New York, Portland and Seattle). These events are centerpieces of the Million Baby Crawl campaign, during which parents and their babies will join to help support reform of toxic chemical policy. This free event will feature fun and educational activities for moms and their babies, local entertainment, full-size product giveaways, and social networking opportunities for moms. The Minneapolis Crawl to Action event will take place at Southdale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Come home dan.
My two year old daughter handed me clumps of her beautiful, sunkissed, baby blonde, ringlets (that she cut) so she could "look like Caillou"

nothing more to say.
